Bbc Citizenship Test : It is Worth Doing This - Understand What It Is to Be A Citizen
This article should help you if you want to naturalise, in the US, Canada or the United Kingdom.

Unless you were born to parents who are national citizens in the country in which you reside you will not necessarily be a citizen, or hold
citizenship, or partake in community politics, and this is what citizenship means.
Citizenship is something we all want, even if we don't have strong political views, as without it we cannot see ourselves as fully rounded
individuals fully participating in the decisions of our town, city, or village. This being the case, it has been the policy of several countries
for a number of years now that all show that they posses a low base level of education in the traditions and matters considered important to the
local people.
I like to think of it as the need for the new residents knowing more about their new friends and neighbours, and this accelerating their progress
of well being in the new home. If truth be known, in times gone by, the people applying for naturalization would probably have had much more time
to study, or just talk with neighbours to find out more about their new community, but today there is so much competitiveness and such difficulty
in finding and keeping jobs that there is precious little time for them to devote to learning, so some pressure to do so was seen as beneficial
to all.

These countries, therefore, have made it a regulatory requirement that all those seeking official nationhood attain a certain minimum tested
score. You should not be worried about the test, called the citizenship test, which now has to be passed - you will pass it with the right study,
and everything is done to help you pass.
If you are applying to the US you will also be asked to swear allegiance to the constitution.
The way they will analyze your citizenry knowledge will be by marking you against your ability to answer a list of questions and the full list of
possible questions will be available well in advance.
CONCLUSION
Now existing Americans, Brits, and Canadians do note that your own nationals are not so very good at quite a few of these questions, and how long
before someone puts this type of course into our schools?
