Citizenship Test 100 Questions : The Passage From Immigrant to Citizen Explained
The following article is for all those seeking naturalization, and should help you understand the purpose of testing you, and the benefit of
the knowledge obtained once you do pass.
To be a citizen is an honor within any society and it means that you will participate in the
community and hold votary rights which an alien (person without the possession of citizenship) would not be allowed to use.
To be a natural or a naturalized citizen is important as it gives us rights in our country. In recognition of the importance of community
cohesion in a number of nation jurisdictions, there is now a requirement that a consistent level of understanding of citizenship is shown by the
new residents seeking entry.
In fact, the politicians who thought up the idea of citizen tests want better harmony, and this was the best way they could think of to promote
it, and in the end more education can hardly be a bad thing. The very busy and competitive nature of this present era has taken its toll on many
people as they are more preoccupied with survival and hence have little or no time for educational pursuits.
._____________________________________________. MEMORABLE WIKIPEDIA QUOTE:
Under this definition, an illegal immigrant is a foreigner who either illegally crossed an international political border, be it by land, sea or
air, or a foreigner who legally entered a country but nevertheless overstay their visa in order to live and/or work therein.

So, to become a naturalized citizen in these jurisdictions it is required that the immigrant takes a paper of questions. The citizen test is the
resulting requirement, and can be passed easily as long as some study is done in advance, and really if you are a person interested in the things
happening around you in your new country, this should be both easy and an enjoyable and interesting task.
As part of the package which includes naturalization there may be a meeting with the dignitary who will ask you to for example give your word of
allegiance.
The citizen test should not be too challenging to anyone, but we do point out that even those who have lived all their lives in these countries
would need to read up and remind themselves of the subject matter before sitting this test, so do give it time and do the necessary reading in
advance.
CONCLUSION
Finally, we would like to point out that even existing citizens could do a lot worse than study the citizen test questions themselves, and most
of us existing citizens would be embarrassed at some point by a lack of knowledge ourselves!
